For those few faculty in CalPERS rather than STRS, the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) has issued a series of frequently asked questions (FAQs), that help to clarify some of the unknowns about Assembly Bill 340 (Chapter 296/2012), the California Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act (PEPRA).
